Christmas in July Holiday Jewelry Collection

I love the holiday season. The weather is turning colder, the nights are long, illuminated by sparkling outdoor lights. There is festive music everywhere you turn. I pull out my decorations that make my house feel cozy, that are winter-themed. There are recipes that I only make once a year. I drag my husband to watch those stereotypical holiday movies all with the same plot and that involve falling in love and discovering the magic of the season. I attend multiple Menorah Lighting events and host Hanukkah gatherings. We host a big holiday party for our friends. 

It’s also a time when I have several holiday markets. And in order to have time for all these things, it means that I don’t have much outside time to create holiday-inspired jewelry. With the exception of my first Christmas jewelry collection back in 2019, most of what I create is made at markets. I wanted to plan ahead this year and have enough time to not only create a cohesive collection, but photograph and list each design too. So this year, I planned differently. 

Instead of creating on the go, I created my jewelry in the weeks that followed. In January, just a few weeks after the holiday season, I crafted holiday-inspired jewelry in anticipation for the year to come. I pulled down gemstones, crystal beads, and holiday charms and combined them into festive holiday jewelry designs.
